The Basics ( 1.X )

  1. A reasonably modern computer system which is stable for twelve hours or more using Prime 95. Please download it and run Options \ Torture test. If it runs for twelve hours or more without errors then your system is stable. This is a good habit to get into so that events aren't ruined by crashing computers. If there are errors you could ask in the forum for advice.
  2. All drivers must use a racing wheel and pedals. Keyboards and joysticks are NOT allowed.
  3. The server has a 25MB/25MB internet connection. A clients connection to the internet must be no less than 512K down and 256K up. If there are consistent problems with a connection EOAA may ask a driver to stop racing.
  4. Only European drivers and drivers from the USA who have pings no higher than 160ms may participate.
  5. Minimum age of 14.
  6. A legitimate copy of rFactor.

Drivers ( 2.X )

  1. Drivers must gain a full license.
  2. A fully licensed driver is permitted to race at all events and in all series.
  3. A single driver who intends to participate in a competitive event must be in a team. A single driver may not choose to leave a team in order to join another team during a single season. A driver may leave a team to join another team only after a season has been completed. A driver may drive for one team in one series and another team in another series. If a driver can no longer participate for the remainder of a season, he/she must inform their team representative.
  4. Name may NOT include a prefix for example [abcdefg].
  5. Each driver must use either their :
    • Real first name and their real surname or ..
    • Real first name and their real middle name or ..
    • Real first name and a real surname.
  6. This exact same name must be used at all events i.e. .PLR name. A driver's name may NOT be changed at any time.

Teams and Cars ( 3.X )

  1. There is a maximum of three drivers in a team.
  2. There may be one driver in a single team.
  3. All drivers in a team must use the same car and same tyre brand.
  4. Teams cannot change car type or tyre brand during a season.
  5. Team representatives may remove drivers during a season.
  6. Drivers added to a team must have their own unique livery.
  7. There may be updates to car liveries during a season.
  8. Drivers may be added to a team however, new drivers are not able to participate at competitive events until their unique car has been added.
  9. It is recommended to have cars within a team look different and use different sponsors, but it is also recommended that there be a common theme i.e. similar colours or patterns for all cars within a single team.
  10. Each submitted car is investigated. It is expected that each car be made to a high standard.
  11. EOAA preservers the right to modify or request modification of a car if it is seen to need modifying.
  12. EOAA may request a team name to be changed if it is deemed inappropriate.
  13. Main sponsors on cars must be reasonably realistic i.e. a sponsor must be able to afford to have their logos and images on a real GT car. The main sponsor must be a reasonably well established company. Teams may not change their main sponsor during a single season. Teams may change their main sponsor at the beginning of a new season. Teams must include their main sponsor on all their cars. Tobacco sponsors are not permitted.
  14. There are number boards which must be on every car.
